In the intimate setting of the home, walls mirror what occupies a person’s mind, what holds value for them, as well as the historical context in which they live. My visual research examines how patterns of wall decoration in domestic interiors have evolved across different eras, and seeks to uncover the foundations of the wall aesthetics of the 21st century.
